In the corporate environment, when one mentions business ethics it is usually in the context of three situations. One, it may be about avoiding breaking criminal law in whatever task one is assigned, or various other work-related activities. Second, it might refer to the avoidance of actions that may be considered felonious and the individual performing them ends up configuring civil law suits made against their organization. Thirdly, it might deal with the organizations image in the corporate environment. A professional image is vital for organizations to survive In the cut-throat world of today, where competition is fierce and newer techniques to take over sales are thought of every day.
