There are many ways for managers to implement change. The leadership style in the law enforcement agencies is much reflexive than army, but they are using the same top to bottom approach. Leadership Structure requires no change in law enforcement's leadership style. Many departments are in the current way of doing things and will take place tomorrow. Natural corrosion occurs to change locked. Change is required if a crisis situation is especially rapid progress has been forced to look contemporary and supervisors recognize their need for change.

If this happens on the field of law enforcement leadership, which have no experience with the structure to improve earnings tomorrow that all interested parties. In the U.S., there are different levels of police, Federal Police, State Police (often called state troopers or highway patrol), police special purposes (parks, schools, homes, traffic, etc.) and County Police (sheriffs, bailiffs, and other agencies) and local police. These are some of the hundreds of police agencies in the country. The Federal Police is divided into two categories: Research Agencies (such as the FBI, the Marshals of the United States, the DEA, the Secret Service and CIA) and Security Police agencies (such as the Federal Protective Service, U.S. Mint Police, Park Police United States and the Border Patrol).

The police doctrine is the set of ideas or opinions, ethical principles, legal concepts and officially accepted and which is based policing; fusion integrating its principles on institutional, legal and philosophical foundations of law linked to the Police human rights, law, order and security. Thus, the doctrine precedes and sustains the knowledge and theoretical and practical concepts of public security, internal order and the public (Schacht, 2002). There are many doctrines in relation to the right of police who supported the Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. The first derives the concepts of rights and freedoms, the second the notion of public service.
