Our society represent the kind of individuals we are, our actions represent our personality. Individuals are social animals and they belong to social groups in which they often exaggerate how their own opinions are different from the others. Individuals tend to believe that their opinions matter more and are right as compared to the other individuals opinions (Belle, 1997).
Introduction:
Our society represent the kind of individuals we are, our actions represent our personality. Individuals are social animals and they belong to social groups in which they often exaggerate how their own opinions are different from the others. Individuals tend to believe that their opinions matter more and are right as compared to the other individuals opinions.
Discussion:
According to many researches an individual's perception is always towards negativity which later creates more notions regarding their rivals about values that are central to their own sides' ideological position than those that are central to their rivals' position and perceptions of disagreement about their own central values are what predicts individuals total assessment of those people which these individuals single out and categorize them according to their stratification, status and looks by grouping them together through mental perception. Therefore, individuals believe that their perception was motivated by an opposition to their own core values rather than by promotion of the adversaries' core values (Bar-Tal, 2007).
However, there is by default for misconceptions to happen as in a group not every individual is in harmony or synced with each other. The effects of partner-achievement goals were moderated by recipient expectations of success and mediated by recipient effort. Recipients with low expectations of their own success requested that their provider partners with partner-achievement goals refrain from offering them support ; they also invested less time studying Latin grammar and learned fewer Latin words over one week. Together, these findings highlight the unique behavioral consequences of partner-achievement goals for both members of a relationship.

Sociological exchange of ideas can be both positive or negative depending on the magnittude of the idea. But by default, we individuals always have a notion about a certain thing. What the individuals fail to recognize is that the fact that our intergroup netowrking are the sole reasons this misconceptions arise and further these can escalate into immoral ...
