Analyzing organizational theory perspectives at Apple Company
Introduction
Organizational theory can be considered as the detail analysis of the organizations that provides the benefit of identifying the common theme s among the organizations and thus aid in solving the problems, maximizing the efficiency and productivity. The analysis also seems to be helpful in meeting the needs of the organizations' diversified stakeholders. The principles that help to understand the foundations of business establishment performance are to great extent highlighted by the elements of influence and resistance. There are miscellaneous ways present that help to grasp the understanding of influence, control, conflict and networking within an organization (Clegg, Kornberger, & Pitsis, 2005, pp. 34). Some of these methods or views comprises of modernization perspective, critical theory perspective, symbolic-interpretive perceptions and post modernization perspectives. These perspectives help to affirm that a variety of appearances are taken by conflicts, resistance, influence and organizational networks (Linzmayer, 1999, pp.45-65). All this analysis to great extent is dependent on the executive structure that is being followed within an organization. For example, in case of a matrix construct networking system, inconsistencies will be confronted by the company in the process of decision making as the structure requires the subordinate to be accountable to more than one supervisor (Segal, 2012, pp. 55).
These elements remain particularly pivotal within the multinational organizations where the managers remain under obligation to report to head of affairs of the country in which the company is operating along with the industrial supervisor. The resultant of such situation will be faced in the form of uncertainty, and the resistance level may provide an organization with unfavorable consequences. This essay is written with an objective to investigate and analyze the organizational networks and influence at Apple Inc. with the help of propositions and principles of modern and post-modern paradigms that are characterized by various approaches. These perspectives will help in understanding the authority, control, resentment and influence in organizational establishments (Hatch & Cunliffe, 2006, pp. 70-90). The reason for selecting these paradigms in examining Apple Inc. organizational network and influence is because of the fact that the company operates in a highly competitive environment and its effective functioning requires a proper consideration of the both internal and external environmental factors that can best be done with the selected modern and postmodern approaches.
