Responding to intense pressure for short-term results, people working for corporations often cut corners that they shouldn't. We use all kinds of rationalizations to excuse these behaviors everything from everyone does it to nobody's getting hurt by this to I'd get fired if I complained.

Main Body

There are a majority of us who believe in work ethics, and somehow because of the work load or greed, we tend to ignore the work ethics which is certainly not at all acceptable. At times, we may find it very difficult to speak our heart out in front of the public, but we step aside. After all it's not very difficult to follow the ethical code of the country or organization if we have the intention and dedication to do it. It was very important for an organization to keep its sub ordinates and colleague honest because its gives the best feedback from them.

Ethics which is a major concern of every society today has a difference of opinion over it to a great extent. Ethical behavior is characterized by being honest, fair and maintaining relationship on a healthy point of view. The relationships may vary from teacher to students and from buyer to seller; the ethics has to be maintained always. It is because of the ethical behavior that the dignity of a man is respected and so are the rights of the human beings. Ethics are basically the standards that an individual might hold. These standards might vary from person to person and not every person would have the same ethical standards as the other person. The standards might vary from position to position as well.

In today's world it is very important for the individuals to follow the ethical code of life. The reason being is that the ethics helps people develop credibility in the market and makes them an important figure. It is somehow the major responsibility of the school and college teachers to try and make sure that they develop a sense of familiarity amongst the students. The students should be aware of the fact that whatever they are doing is ethical or not. Case studies should be taught at school, where examples should be demonstrated as to how being ethical has helped the society. The students at the college and school level are at a growing age, and are grasping things for the future. If the students at this age are taught to be nice he would be nice, and if he is taught to be bad if would be bad. Studies have witnessed this. The importance of ethics can never be ignored.
