Film Review: Rain Man and House of Cards

"Rain Man" is a very beautiful and touching film. It shows perfectly the importance of love and family in the life of every human being. I think that the image of Barry Levinson's film is a brilliant masterpiece and every viewer who has a little bit of sensitivity should not miss a session of the "rain man". Spite of having autism, Raymond has an unusual memory and an extraordinary ability for mathematics. He has a deep fear of change and adheres to strict routines; and shows emotional expressions of distress and avoids eye contact. Even though, Charlie's intentions are to use his brother to get money (Stolyarov, 2007).

“House of Cards”, is the movie directed by Michael Lissak in 1993. House of Cards is a structure built from playing cards for entertainment. Usually unstable, that formed the basis of the well-known idiom. It's a drama film of 1993. The story of the film is based on the mother who struggles to connect with her daughter who has been in a state of trauma due to the death of her father. In 1993, this film was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival before the acquisition of the Twentieth Century Fox (Canby, 1993).

Description of the Exceptionality: Importance of Love and Family in the Life of Every Human Being

Both the movies show a excessive love and affection towards the family members. The film Rain Man shows the love between the two brothers who were separated in childhood due to odd circumstances. The film shows that each success is followed by a setback, until we begin to question how we define "success".

While on the other hand, the film House of Cards reveals the deep respect and love for the spirituality of children. The best efforts of the writer and director have shaped a film full of imaginative world of children.

Description of Main Character from Movie 1: Rain Man

Rain Man is an American film directed by Barry Levinson, released in 1988 to the United States and France in 1989. This film was one of the first to address the topic of autism, although autism represented in this film is not representative of the majority of autism. The cast of the film includes Dustin Hoffman as Raymond Babbitt, Tom Cruise as Charlie Babbitt, Valeria Golino as Susanna, Gerald R. Molen as Dr. Bruner, Lucinda Jenney as Iris and Ralph Seymour as Lenny.

The story revolves around the two brothers, which are not known until adulthood because their father dies. Charlie, one of the brothers, is a scammer, his father ran home when he was a teenager, it starts from his life of deceit. Charlie realizes that his father is dead, and that he has bequeathed an old convertible, also discovers the existence of a man of whom he had never said anything (Willis, 1988).
